American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB)

Helps advance research, education, and outreach in the life sciences through networking and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Activity Grants Committee

The Activity Grants Committee reviews funding requests and supports student organization programs throughout the school year.

American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES)

AISES bridges science and technology with traditional Native values and supports American Indian and Native Alaskan students.

Art Club

A community for artists and students interested in collaborative and individual art activities, service projects, and visual arts.

Beeline Drumline

Buzz Marketing

Campus Activities Board (C.A.B.)

This student-run organization plans and hosts campus entertainment, including lectures, music, cultural events, dances, and themed activities.

Campus Ventures

Offers opportunities for students to know and love God, disciple others, and impact future generations for Jesus Christ.

Chess Club

Offers students the opportunity to learn and play chess.

Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship

Develops students' spiritual lives and abilities in relation to God, each other, and the world within a Pentecostal Christian context.

COLP - Collegiate Outdoor Leadership Program

Plans and provides outdoor education programs for the campus community and area residents, with both participating and leadership membership tracks.

Shares foreign cultures, supports international students, and builds understanding between international and domestic students.

Honors Club

Offers Honors students a close-knit community with on-campus experiences, study nights, celebrations, and activities.

Jacket Catholic

St. Joseph's Catholic Newman Center provides faith, fellowship, and a home-cooked meal every Sunday night.

Jacket Health Association (JHA)

Prepares preprofessional students for careers in health care through service, training, shadowing, and professional school preparation.

Jacket Investment Club

Helps students learn investment principles, market news, portfolio management, and networking in the investment industry.

Jacket Poker Club

A club where students can play classic card games such as Blackjack and Texas Hold'em in a risk-free environment.

Jackets For Life (JFL)

Provides information about resources to mothers who need them and starts discussion about the pro-life cause on campus and in the community.

An award-winning student newspaper and online campus media organization with editorial, production, photography, and advertising roles.

KBHU-FM 89.1 & 90.7 The Buzz

ذكذكتسئµ's student-run radio organization brings alternative radio broadcasting to Spearfish and the surrounding area.

KBHU-TV

Provides opportunities for students to experience television broadcasting, servicing the campus with informational and entertaining programs from the studio in the E.Y. Berry Library.

Kicking Assets (Accounting Club)

Helps students connect with accounting industry leaders and build networking opportunities.

Lakota Omniciye

Bridges cultural gaps between non-Indian and Indian students and provides educational assistance to members where applicable.

Latter-day Saints

Assists students in balancing their academic, social, cultural, and religious education.

Ponder

Pickleball

Learn the sport of pickleball in a low-stress but competitive environment.

Pre-Med Club

Helps students pursuing degrees in the medical field prepare for graduate degree programs.

Pride

Raises awareness about the LGBTQIA community and provides resources, support, open discussion, and community.

Props and Liners

An advanced theatre group that promotes further understanding of theatre through trips and other activities. Membership requires sophomore standing.

Psychology Club

Promotes interest and education in psychology through social, academic, fundraising, volunteer, and community activities.

Psi Chi

A national honor society that encourages excellence in scholarship in psychology and advances the science of psychology.

Rec Sports

Provides recreational opportunities to get involved in intramural sports.

Residence Hall Association

A student organization connected to residence life, housing community, and student leadership.

Residence Hall Councils

Individual hall councils provide residents with a living environment conducive to academic and social growth, sponsoring activities within each hall: Bordeaux, Heidepriem, Humbert, Thomas, Wenona Cook, and YJ Apartments.

Self Defense Club

A student organization focused on self-defense, personal safety, fitness, and wellness.

Society of Physics Students (SPS)

Enhances and encourages understanding and appreciation of physics among students, while providing resources and support for career advancement in physics.

Spanish Club

How do you get involved?

All you need to do is review the many organizations and specify which groups interest you. Then fill out an interest form. It's that easy!

If there is not a group that interests you, or you have an idea for a new group, you may create your own organization. For more details, the Student Organization Policy Manual is a complete handbook for student leaders explaining how to start up a new organization and become recognized as well as how to be an effective organization on campus.
